It is important to point out that we own our stock outright, it has been bought by us with our own hard earned money and the car is worth every penny of it.
Just like you now, we were in the same predicament, we have gone out applied our professional knowledge and made every check possible to make sure that the car we are buying with our hard earned pennies is of the highest quality.
For this reason you dont have to drive up and down the country looking at motors - we have already done that!!! We always want to be certain we have bought wisely and end up rejecting many more cars than we buy.
This is in marked contrast to someone selling other people's cars on a commission/sale or return basis. They pretty much have the same financial commitment to the cars as the Autotrader or Ebay :), merely offering it for sale. If it sells, they will use your money to buy it, if it doesn't it stays with the owner. You as the buyer have to act as their quality control officer!
Secondly......
We all know that 'Money Matters'. Therefore we are very price, quality and image conscious, our aim is to sell cars at the same price the private man would ask for the equivalent vehicle - in some cases less!
Unlike Mr private vendor who genuinely believes that his car decided not to take part in the recession and might also still be emotionally scarred from buying those new Yokohama tyres from 3 years ago we see the wider picture and value cars at what they are actually worth in the current financial climate.
A high proportion of our business is repeat or recommended. For this reason we try to pick cars that won`t depreciate too heavily.
It is hard to do business with someone again if you want to give him £10,000 for a car bought off you for £20,000 a year ago.
And thirdly........
We don`t judge our customers when they walk through the door. Fear not if you don`t happen to be wearing your best designer clothes and are unsure of the difference between a 964RS and a 968CS or even if you think that the white van is the fastest vehicle on earth.
We are a very friendly bunch of people and will make you feel comfortable.
Paul Brown Cars is run by myself Paul Brown with the help of very close trusted employees that are also my best friends. They say never mix friends and business but for us it works a treat. We pride ourselves on our friendly approach and excellent customer service.
Before the car is advertised it is put through an independent workshop and any faults found rectified. The car will then be serviced if one is due (or nearly due), and given a new MOT test regardless of how long the previous MOT has remaining.
The car is then valeted inside and out to ensure that the car you buy will stand out from similar ones.
All this preparation ensures when you drive away your new pride and joy is as sound as it could be.
